Pentax K-3 III will be available at the Photokina 2018 event in September

Ricoh Japan may be launching a Pentax K-3 III DSLR camera in 2018 to compete with other same segment cameras. New Pentax’s camera will be available at the Photokina 2018 event in September next year.

Pentax K-3 III dslr camera

The Pentax K3-II is now one of the top APS-C choices in the world. The camera is compact in size and water resistant. Inside the camera is a series of new sensor technology such as sensor shift, body vibration, high-resolution imaging, and more.

The Pentax K-3 III DSLR camera configuration information has not been confirmed, but we can expect 4K video recording or faster focus. I personally hope Pentax will expand the tracking area on the sensor, more focus points for more flexible focus. Is the Pentax K-3 III capable of competing with the APS-C Flagship such as the upcoming Nikon D500 or Canon 7D Mark III? This is hard to say and we will have to wait for more information.

  2. Wait might as well get greedy..lets add some better sync capability too!

  3. Is it still expected that a Pentax K3 iii will be unveiled at Photokina? While this expectation has been in circulation since December 2017, there has been almost zero evidence that a product is under development. Usually, such rumours are supported by ‘leaks’ and ‘sightings’. Nothing out there it would seem.
