Panasonic Toughpad FZ A2 Rugged Tablet with 10.1-inch Display and Android 6.0 Launched

Panasonic Toughpad FZ A2 Tablet has been officially launched in UK at the Panasonic Automotive Innovation Summit in Barcelona. If you’re looking for a rugged Android 6.0 powered tablet, Panasonic has all new FZ A2, which is a new addition to extreme rugged tablet line up that also offers high-end specifications. The Toughpad FZ A2 is priced at £939 – approximately $1300 USD and it will be available from next month this year. Panasonic Toughpad FZ A2The biggest highlight of the Panasonic Toughpad FZ A2 is a fully rugged tablet, high durability and made of magnesium alloy that can withstand drop from up to 1.2 meters in height. It is IP65 certified means resistance to dust and water and can work under extreme temperatures from -10 to 50 degrees Celsius.

This Panasonic Durable Tablet features a 10.1-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels with 800cd/m2 brightness for high visualization in both indoors and outdoors. It also comes with the capacitive stylus pen for accurate annotation, up to 10-point touch can be used by gloved hand or even in the rain.

This Panasonic rugged tablet is powered by a 1.44 GHz Intel Atom x5-Z8550 Quad-core processor (2 MB cache, Turbo boost up to 2.4GHz) paired with 4GB of RAM and comes with 32GB of eMMC internal storage which can also be expanded via microSD card.Untitled-2

It also comes with an 8-megapixel autofocus primary camera on the back with LED flash and there is a Full HD front webcam for selfies and video conference. It also comes equipped with built-in directional array microphones ideal for communication, video conferencing and voice recognition software.

The Toughpad FZ A2 Tablet runs on latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS with Enterprise Security from Android for Work. It comes with a removable battery that can offer up to 9 hours of usage time, unspecified battery capacity but it supports the battery swappable function.

On the connectivity front, Panasonic Rugged Tablets supports 4G LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS, A-GPS, Bluetooth 4.0, NFC, USB Type-C, OTG, USB 3.0, HDMI and Micro SD card reader options.
