Panasonic Toughbook 20: 2 in 1 fully rugged detachable Laptop Launched

Panasonic has launched the new 2 in 1 durable laptop device dubbed as the Toughbook 20, this fully rugged detachable laptop is purpose-built for mobile workers, conveying elements that empower productivity both in and out of doors. According to Panasonic this the world’s first fully rugged detachable laptop used as portable workstation that can deliver the durability, reliability, and flexibility and expanded functionality as per customers demands.Panasonic Toughbook 20 comes equipped with a 10.1-inch IPS display, WUXGA resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels that can be appraised to convey pixel density of 224ppi. You can also rotate hinge 180 degrees back, it can be detached and used by itself or flipped to show presentation in office. It is designed to be used outdoors to the maximum brightness of up to 800-nit panel to limit the status of reflected sunlight and ensures sharp and clear images.

The Toughbook 20 offers six usage modes, convertible mode allows users to see the display with the keyboard attached and ready when it is needed. Using the built-in handle, the device can operate in carry mode or hanging on a wall, while vehicle mode provides full functionality and operation of the device when on the move.

This Panasonic Toughbook Tablet is certified by MIL- STD-810G for drop, shock, vibration, explosive atmosphere, temperature, humidity, rain and sand, as well as waterproof and dustproof ingress (IP65) and MIL- STD-461F for electromagentic interference. It packs a 2600mAh removable battery with 4G LTE option, in addition the Toughbook 20 runs Windows 10 Pro OS. It will be available in February 2016 with a starting price of $3,099.
