Panasonic has updated its GH5 mirrorless camera’s firmware again. The new version is 2.1 and does not bring new features such as 2.0, a full version of the new release that has been released in just a few weeks ago. The changes made essentially relate to resolving some known bugs.

Panasonic GH5 Firmware 2.1
Panasonic GH5 firmware 2.0 was automatically set the Power Save LVF Shooting to 1 second, sending the camera to sleep mode after 1 second in standby mode. But now version 2.1 changes this parameter by setting it to “off”. Of course, user can modify this value by assigning one of those available. Another issue has been solved related to the parameters of picture quality adjustment in Photo Style when using the HEVC (AAC) recording in MP4. The firmware 2.0 set the above-mentioned values to -5, and GH5 firmware 2.1 put them all back to zero (of course they can be changed manually).

Some problems with the V-LogL View Assist have also been resolved and the video files that are recorded in AVCHD cannot be divided. For more information and download the Panasonic GH5 firmware 2.1, please visit the source link below:
