The Lytro Light Field Camera is currently ruling in light field photography, but this will soon be cracked by Panasonic.
The Japanese camera manufacturers are said to be developing a complete new system similar to Lytro light field camera with after-focus imaging capabilities. Panasonic also adds that it will be world’s first light field camera system that uses interchangeable lenses which allowing users to use the available lenses.
Sources said that Panasonic last year, launched the world’s first digital camera that can record 4K video at 30 frames/sec. This new feature will only be available for 4K cameras. It seems this would be a complementary feature rather than a completely new camera.
