The Optoma ZK810TST is a new, bright, high-resolution projector that can satisfy even the most demanding requirements. The manufacturer claims the lamp lasts up to 30,000 hours and can operate continuously.

For the typical end user, cheaper projectors should be sufficient in many cases, but the ZK810TST also boasts extremely high brightness for a laser projector. Specifically, it’s rated at 8,500 lumens – and 7,200 ANSI lumens. This should allow for adequate projection even in moderately darkened rooms. It’s a DLP projector, projecting images onto the screen with a 3,840 x 2,160 pixels resolution.
This short-throw projector features a projection ratio between 0.65:1 and 0.75:1, and it comes with a corresponding zoom lens. You can adjust the projection distance from 0.7 to 16.6 meters using the motor-controlled zoom. The projector supports keystone correction as well as horizontal and vertical lens shift. It includes three HDMI 2.0 ports and one HDMI 2.0 output, and it works with 3D glasses. There are also RJ45 and HDBaseT ports and an RS232 port.
The system is advertised as having a gaming mode, which is supposed to result in lower latency when displaying video games. The system weighs 14.3 kilograms and measures 486 x 428.6 x 185 millimeters, with a maximum power consumption of 530 watts. It has an IP5X certification and features two 10-watt speakers. A remote control is included.
