Oppo has reportedly started promoting its upcoming device called Oppo F5 – a new Selfie Expert for its successful “F series” and the smartphone’s first anticipated launch will take place in the Philippines.
The Chinese selfie smartphone maker has reportedly displayed posters of its Oppo F5 smartphone in a local store at the Manila the Philippines, according to Noypigeeks. The Oppo poster spotted showing the smartphone and its much-touted Selfie Expert moniker alongside a tagline that says, “Capture the real you.”
By looking at the poster from Oppo, it looks that the F5 will sport a different design from its predecessor. The rear of the smartphone sports single camera and fingerprint sensor below it means the F5 is the first Oppo smartphone that comes with a rear fingerprint sensor, instead of the front.
A report contrarily claimed that the anticipated Oppo F5 would pack a large 6.0-inch FHD+ (2880 x 1440 pixels) display with 18:9 aspect ratio. It will also be interesting to see how Oppo promotes and introduces its new Selfie Expert smartphone after the F3 series.
Now, why Oppo F5? It’s a hunch. But considering how other Chinese smartphones were named (like the OnePlus 5), we’re confident that OPPO will skip the number “4”, too.
