Oppo A9x With 6.53-inch FHD+ Display, 48MP Rear Camera, 6GB RAM Launched

Oppo knows no limits and, after having formalized the Oppo A9 last month, now the company has announced a new smartphone called Oppo A9x in the A series. It is a mid-range device comes with a 6.53-inch waterdrop notch display, 6GB RAM, Dual Rear Cameras and fingerprint sensor.

Oppo A9x Price and Availability

The Oppo A9x price in China has been set at CNY 1,999 – approximately $289 for the sole 6GB RAM with 256GB storage version. It is available for pre-order through Oppo store and goes on sale from May 21 in China. The device comes in Ice Jade White and Meteorite Black color options.

Oppo A9x Specifications

The Oppo A9x features a 6.5-inch Dew Drop notch display with Full HD+ (2340 x 1080 pixels) resolution and 90.7% screen-to-body ratio. It is powered by a 2.1 GHz octa-core processor which supported by MediaTek Helio P70 12nm SoC with 900MHz ARM Mali-G72 MP3 GPU and 6GB of RAM. It packs a 256GB of inbuilt storage which can be expanded via microSD card up to 256GB.

On the camera front, the A9x bears a 48-megapixel rear camera with f/1.7 aperture, four-in-one pixel binning to offer 12MP image with 1.6μm pixel along with a 5-megapixel secondary camera and LED flash. For selfie, there is a 16-megapixel front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture. Oppo A9x has a 3D gradient back and features a fingerprint sensor on the back.

The handset runs on Android 9.0 Pie -based on ColorOS 6.0 out of the box. It packs a 4020mAh battery with VOOC 3.0 fast charging and supports dual SIM slot with dual standby. For connectivity includes Dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 4.2, GPS/GLONASS, 3.5 mm audio jack, and FM Radio.
