Oppo A9 With 6.5-inch FHD+ Display, Dual Rear Camera, 6GB RAM Launched

Oppo knows no limits and, after having formalized the special version of F11 Pro just a few hours ago, it also launches Oppo A9, a mid-range smartphone that is offered at a very attractive price. It is mid-range device comes with a 6.5-inch waterdrop notch display, 6GB RAM, Dual Rear Cameras and fingerprint sensor.

Oppo A9 Price and Availability

The Oppo A9 price in China has been set at CNY 1,799 – approximately $266 for the sole 6GB RAM with 128GB storage version. It is available for pre-order through Oppo store and goes on sale from April 30 in China. The device comes in Mica Green, Jade White, and Fluorite Purple color options.

Oppo A9 Specifications

The Oppo A9 features a 6.5-inch Dew Drop notch display with Full HD+ (2340 x 1080 pixels) resolution and 90.7% screen-to-body ratio. It is powered by a 2.1 GHz octa-core processor which supported by MediaTek Helio P70 12nm SoC with 900MHz ARM Mali-G72 MP3 GPU and 6GB of RAM. It packs a 128GB of inbuilt storage which can be expanded via microSD card up to 256GB.

On the camera front, the A9 bears a 16-megapixel rear camera with AI scene recognition along with a 2-megapixel secondary camera. For selfie, there is a 16-megapixel front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture. Oppo A9 has a 3D gradient back and features a fingerprint sensor on the back.

The handset runs on Android 9.0 Pie -based on ColorOS 6.0 out of the box. It packs a 4020mAh battery with fast charging and supports dual SIM slot with dual standby. For connectivity includes Dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 4.2, GPS/GLONASS, 3.5 mm audio jack, and FM Radio.
