OnePlus announced another Nord smartphone, but only for North America. The Nord N200 5G is a cheaper option than the Nord CE 5G, a European and Indian exclusive, and its specifications reflect this.
Earlier this month, OnePlus revealed the Nord CE 5G stripped-down version of the Nord that the company launched last year. OnePlus does not intend to sell the Nord CE 5G in North America, so the OnePlus N200 5G has taken its place. However, you can buy the Nord CE 5G unlocked GSM only versions on the Newegg.com website.
In short, North America receives a new OnePlus Nord 5G smartphone with lower specifications than in Europe and India. OnePlus has equipped the Nord N200 5G with a Snapdragon 480 5G processor, 4GB RAM, and 64GB UFS 2.1 storage, which puts the device at a disadvantage compared to the Nord CE 5G. In addition, the device has an IPS display, while the Nord CE 5G has an AMOLED display. Both are 1080p and 90Hz displays, and the new device is slightly larger, at 6.49 inches.
Conversely, the device has a 5,000 mAh battery, which is 500 mAh more than that of the Nord CE 5G. But the advantages of the N200 5G end there. The OnePlus N200 5G is content with an 18W fast charge, instead of the Warp Charge 30T Plus that the Nord CE 5G supports. Additionally, the OnePlus outfitted the device with quad cameras: a 16 MP selfie shooter, a 13 MP primary camera, and two 2 MP sensors for macro photos and depth of field information.
