OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite 5G offers a 120 Hz display and a 64 MP triple camera at an attractive price

Along with the Nord 2T 5G (approx. £369 / $450), OnePlus has also made available the Nord CE 2 Lite 5G affordable smartphone in the UK. OnePlus introduced a new mid-range smartphone that wants to impress with a 120 Hz fast 1,080p+ display, a 5,000 mAh battery, and a 64-megapixel triple camera at an attractive price.

The Nord CE 2 Lite 5G comes with major differences when compared to the Nord CE 2 (approx. $340 on Amazon) in terms of both design and equipment, starting with the display.

The Lite version uses a 6.59-inch, 120 Hz, 1080p+ IPS panel instead of the 6.43-inch, 90 Hz AMOLED display. The ultra-wide-angle camera is also eliminated, instead, there is only a 64-megapixel rear camera and two 2-megapixel sensors, alongside the 16-megapixel selfie camera, which sits in a punch-hole in the top-left corner of the screen.

With the Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 5G, the mid-range smartphone promises passable performance, because the ARM SoC has two powerful ARM Cortex-A78 cores with clock frequencies of up to 2.2 GHz, and Cortex-A55 six cores at 1.7 GHz equipped. The battery has a capacity of 5,000 mAh and is charged with up to 33 watts. OnePlus promises at least two years of Android updates and three years of security updates.

The OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite 5G is offered in the UK with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of flash memory for £279 on the Amazon.co.uk website. And 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage for $365 on the Amazon.com store. The device comes in Black Dusk and Blue Tide color options.
