OnePlus Nord 2T 5G with 90Hz AMOLED screen, MediaTek Dimensity 1300 chipset, and 80W SUPERVOOC charging

OnePlus introduced the Nord 2T, a mid-range smartphone that builds on the Nord 2. While the OnePlus Nord 2T 5G retains many features from its predecessor, OnePlus has added a few new elements. The OnePlus Nord 2T launch date is May 24 and is pre-orderable today in the UK.

OnePlus has announced the Nord 2T, an incremental improvement over last year’s Nord 2. As expected, the device retains its predecessor’s 6.43-inch AMOLED display, which outputs at 2,400 x 1,080 pixels and 90Hz. According to OnePlus, it protects the screen with Gorilla Glass 5 and has applied for certification HDR10+. For reference, the Nord 2T measures 159.1 x 73.2 x 8.2mm and weighs 190g.

Additionally, OnePlus equips the Nord 2T with MediaTek Dimensity 1300 technology along with LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. Additionally, the Nord 2T packs 2,250mAh dual-cell batteries for a total of 4,500mAh, which it can charge up to 80W using Oppo’s SUPERVOOC wired charging technology. In addition, OnePlus equips the Nord 2T with 50 MP (Sony IMX766), 8 MP ultra-wide, 2 MP mono, and 32 MP front (IMX615) primary cameras.

OnePlus Nord 2T 5G price and availability

OnePlus will offer the Nord 2T in two memory configurations, starting at £369 / $450, and the handset is available for pre-orders on Amazon.co.uk, Amazon.com and Newegg.com websites starting today. The Nord 2T color and memory configuration options are 8GB RAM with 128GB storage and 12GB RAM with 256GB storage and come in Gray Shadow and Jade Fog colors.
