OnePlus 6T, the new smartphone of the Chinese company was introduced just a few hours ago, and is already available for pre-order on Amazon UK and comes in two color variants Midnight Black and Mirror Black as well as in three different memory configurations.
After leaking in Certification site, in Press renders, and listed in the German online store, the OnePlus 6T has been officially announced and it is a flagship smartphone comes with a 6.41-inch Optic AMOLED display with a water-drop notch, up to 8GB RAM, Snapdragon 845, Dual Rear Cameras and In-display fingerprint sensor.

The OnePlus 6T price in UK starts from £499.00 for the 6GB RAM with 128GB storage version and the 8GB RAM with 128GB storage version costs £529.00; While the 256GB storage with 8GB RAM model costs £579.00. It is already up for pre-orders via Amazon.co.uk and goes on sale in UK from November 6, 2018. The handset comes in Mirror Black, and Midnight Black color options.
OnePlus 6T Specifications
The OnePlus 6T features a 6.41-inch Optic AMOLED display with Full HD+ (2340 × 1080 pixels) resolution, 19.5:9 aspect ratio, 600 nits brightness, 100.63% sRGB color gamut, DCI-P3 color gamut, and protected by the Corning Gorilla Glass 6. It has a tiny notch that also houses three-in-one ambient/distance/RGB sensor and front-facing camera.
The handset is water-resistant, but it doesn’t have IP ratings. It has a glass back and comes in Mirror Black version that has Corning Gorilla Glass 6 protection. According to the company, the glass not only increases the durability of the device but also creates a 3D effect that accentuates the signature OnePlus horizon line. While the Midnight Black version which also has a glass back, but with a matte finish. The jagged texture was etched onto the film to produce a subtle S-shaped line when the phone is reflected in the light.
OnePlus 6T is powered by a 2.8 GHz octa-core processor which supported by Snapdragon 845 10nm Mobile Platform with Adreno 630 GPU and 6GB/8GB of LPDDR4X RAM. It packs a 64GB / 128GB / 256GB of inbuilt storage. On the camera front, the 6T flaunts a 16-megapixel rear camera with 1/2.6″ Sony IMX519 sensor, f/1.7 aperture, OIS, EIS, 1.22μm pixel size along with a 20-megapixel secondary camera with Sony IMX376K sensor, f/1.7 aperture, 1.0μm pixel size, and dual LED Flash. It comes with 480 fps slo-mo at 720p, 240 fps at 1080p, 4k at 60 fps, Nightscape mode that can recognize night scenes and delivers brighter, more vivid images with more clarity and less noise. This will be coming to OnePlus 6 via a software update soon.
For selfie, there is a 16-megapixel front-facing camera with Sony IMX 371 sensor, f/2.0 aperture, and 1.0μm pixel size. The OnePlus 6T has an in-display fingerprint sensor, which it calls ‘Screen Unlock’ that can also be used to quick launch apps using the customizable app shortcut bar. The company says that the in-display fingerprint sensor can unlock the phone in 0.34 seconds. It also has face unlock to unlock the phone in 0.4 seconds. The handset runs on Android 9.0 Pie with OxygenOS 9.0 out of the box and comes with support for Android’s full-screen gestures and support for Smart Boost technology that improves app start speeds to 5 to 20% by storing data from frequently used apps in the phone’s RAM.
It packs a 3700mAh battery with Dash Charge (5V 4A) fast charging. It supports Dual SIM slot with dual standby and for connectivity includes 4G VoLTE, 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n/ac, GPS, GLONASS, Bluetooth 5, and USB C. The device measures 157.7×74.8×8.2mm and weighs 185 grams.
