OnePlus 5 and 5T Start Receiving Stable OxygenOS 9.0 Based on Android 9.0 Pie Update

OnePlus 5 and 5T have now started receiving stable Android 9.0 Pie update based on OxygenOS 9.0.0. The latest Android update is reportedly rolling out and it is said to be available via OTA as well as the update will reach a small percentage of users, and we’ll begin a broader rollout in a few days.

The new update comes after the OnePlus 6 got the stable Android Pie-based OxygenOS 9.0 update back in September. As OnePlus forums, the stable Android 9.0 Pie update for the OnePlus 5 and 5T brings new navigation gestures for the 5T, Google Lens integration in camera, Gaming mode 3.0 and more features.

The changelog available below shows that the Android 9.0 Pie update for the OnePlus 5 and 5T weighs 1.74 GB in size and also includes Android security patch for December 2018.
