HP introduced the OmniBook Ultra Flip 2-in-1, its first touchscreen convertible laptop designed for professionals and powered by Intel Lunar Lake. It features a Core Ultra 9 288V processor, 32 GB of RAM, a 120 Hz OLED touchscreen, and a 64 Wh battery.
After HP launched the OmniBook X, a notebook based on the Snapdragon X Elite, the OmniBook Ultra Flip 14 is an alternative based on Intel Lunar Lake, which is more expensive but also better equipped in many ways. HP has given the lightweight hybrid laptop a modernized design with strongly rounded corners, a large multi-touch trackpad, and an illuminated keyboard.
The HP laptop with a 360-degree hinge offers four processor options, from the Core Ultra 5 226V to the Core Ultra 9 288V. The HP 2-in-1 laptop offers 16 GB or 32 GB of LPDDR5X-8533 RAM, depending on the chosen configuration. Storage options range from 512 GB to 2 TB PCIe SSD.
HP has installed quad speakers and a 9-megapixel webcam with Windows login via facial recognition. The webcam is designed to achieve better image quality using AI noise reduction.
The HP OmniBook Ultra Flip 2-in-1 features a 14-inch 16:10 OLED touchscreen. It offers a 2,880 x 1,800 resolution, 120 Hz refresh rate, and 400 nits brightness. Gorilla Glass 5 protects the screen. It includes three USB-C ports, two of which support Thunderbolt 4, and a 64 Wh battery. Weighing just 1.34 kg, this convertible offers impressive versatility.
