Olympus updates Firmware for OM-D E-M1 MK II, OM-D E-M5 MK II and PEN-F Cameras

Olympus has released firmware updates for its OM-D E-M1 Mark II, OM-D E-M5 Mark II and PEN-F cameras. Following all the changes made for each camera model below:

Olympus OM-D E-M1 Mark II Firmware Version 2.0

• Improved functionality in Pro Capture Mode
• M.Zuiko ED 12-100mm f/4.0 IS PRO now supports Focus Stacking
• Adds small AF Target setting (S-AF and C-AF)
• Adds in-body Fisheye Correction (when using ED 8mm f/1.8 Fisheye PRO)
• Adds enlargement ratio setting and 100% enlargement ratio
• Adds flicker Scan function
• Improved Continuous AF (C-AF) performance
• AF response improved when using back button focus AF settings
• Improved video IS performance
• Improved tethered shooting responsiveness and stability
• Improved indicator of remaining battery level
• Adds new Art Filter option “Bleach Bypass”
• Support for Panasonic LEICA DG ELMARIT 200mm/F2.8/POWER O.I.S. interchangeable lens

Olympus OM-D E-M5 Mark II Firmware Version 4.0

• Adds Focus Stacking function
• Adds new Art Filter option “Bleach Bypass”
• Support for Panasonic LEICA DG ELMARIT 200mm/F2.8/POWER O.I.S. interchangeable lens

Olympus Pen-F Firmware Version 3.0

• Monochrome Profile and Color Profile settings in recorded images can be saved onto the camera via a computer
• Shading effects in Monochrome Profile Control is available in Color Profile Control and Color Creator
• Adds new Art Filter option “Bleach Bypass”
• Support for Panasonic LEICA DG ELMARIT 200mm/F2.8/POWER O.I.S. interchangeable lens
