A much awaited virtual reality headset called Oculus Rift gets official price tag of $599 and now available for pre-order from its official webpage, scheduled for delivery from March 28 2016. This new price is said to be higher than expected around $300 to 400 but still many people are interested to buy this gadget.
If you are ready to spend up to $599 for a Oculus Rift Pre Order you will bundled with two free games Lucky’s Tale and EVE: Valkyrie; inside the box you will find glass, sensors, cables, oculus remote and Xbox One controller. Currently, Amazon US store also listed the Oculus Rift with just an email notifier, without any pricing and availability details of the device.
According to the company, Oculus Rift will be available in limited 20 countries, including United States, UK, Australia, Canada and Japan. Additionally, Oculus also launches a new controller called the Oculus Remote, will ship with it. A basic remote controller with four buttons such as home, back, plus, minus and a touchpad.
From the Development Kit, we will know more about virtual reality technology, the appearance of the glasses and the VR application in the near future. The Rift should cover our eyes because the virtual reality technology offers a panoramic view over the current 3D glasses, you rotate your head to the left means you are moving left in the virtual reality world, similar to what you do in real life.
