Nubia Z17S has been officially launched in China. It is a high-end smartphone with the Snapdragon 835, Dual rear and front cameras, and fingerprint sensor from the ZTE being launched today. The ZTE Nubia Z17S price in China is CNY 2,999 – approximately $455 for 6GB RAM + 64GB ROM variant, and CNY 3,999 – approximately $607 for 8GB RAM + 128GB ROM model. The handset is available in Black and Blue color options. It is now available for pre-orders and will go on sale from October 19 in China.
ZTE Nubia Z17S Specifications
The Nubia Z17S features a 5.73-inch LTPS Fullview display Full HD+ (2040×1080 pixels) resolution, 96 percent NTSC color gamut, and protected by Corning Gorilla Glass. The device is made of 7 series aviation grade aluminum alloy frame and 3D glass back that uses Corning Gorilla Glass protection with rounded corners.
It is powered by a 2.45 GHz octa-core processor which fueled by Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 64-bit 10nm chipset coupled with Adreno 540 710MHz GPU and 8GB / 6GB of LPDDR4x RAM. It comes in 64GB / 128GB storage options. The Z17S also comes equipped with a rear fingerprint sensor that can unlock the phone in 0.1 seconds.
For optics, the Nubia Z17S bears a dual rear camera setup: one is a 12-megapixel rear camera with Sony IMX362 sensor, 1.4μm pixel size, f/1.8 aperture, 1/2.55″ CMOS sensor, dual-tone LED flash, while secondary 23-megapixel sensor with Sony IMX318 sensor, f/2.0 aperture, 2x optical zoom and background blur. For selfie, there is also dual 5-megapixel front camera sensors with f/2.2 aperture and 79.9-degree wide-angle lens.
The handset runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat -based on Nubia UI 5.1 out of the box. It packs a 3100mAh battery with 26W fast charging that can charge the phone up to 50 percent in just 25 minutes. The device also packed with strong audio compartment when it comes with TAS2555 smart Amplifier and 7.1 channel DTS audio
It supports dual SIM slot with dual standby, For connectivity includes 4G VoLTE, 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n/ac dual-band (2×2 MU-MIMO), GPS, A-GPS, GLONASS, Bluetooth 4.1, NFC, and USB Type-C options.
