Japanese company Cosina has introduced the Voigtlander Nokton 75mm F1.5 Z Aspherical lens for full-frame Nikon Z mirrorless cameras, which was developed and manufactured under a license agreement with Nikon.
The lens, designed specifically for Nikon Z cameras, offers full-frame coverage and enhances your shooting experience with its electronic contacts that communicate seamlessly with the camera. Built with a robust and durable all-metal body, it ensures long-lasting performance and reliability.
Featuring manual focus control, it allows for precise adjustments, while its 12-bladed circular aperture creates stunning, beautifully blurred backgrounds. Additionally, the lens boasts a minimum shooting distance of just 0.5 meters, making it versatile for close-up photography as well as broader compositions.
It features electronic contacts to enable communication between the lens and camera to transfer Exif data, support 3-axis stabilization, and focus assist functions.
The design consists of 7 elements in 6 groups, and despite the high aperture ratio, the Voigtlander Nokton 75mm F1.5 Z Aspherical lens is quite compact with good optical characteristics, including due to the use of a 2-sided aspherical lens. The minimum focusing distance is 0.5 m. The manufacturer promises beautiful bokeh on an open 12-blade aperture.
Although the lens features manual focus, Cosina consistently impresses with each new Voigtländer model. They deliver an exceptionally balanced rotational force and resistance during focusing, thanks to the high-precision metal helicoid and specialized lubrication.
The robust body and bayonet mount, like all Cosina-Voigtlander lenses, are made of aluminum alloy. The lens hood is also metal and is included in the package.
