Pre-Orders of the Nokia XR20 Smartphone started in North America

B&H store announced the start of pre-orders on the US market of a new Nokia XR 20 rugged smartphone. The device can be used in harsh environments and has been tested for durability according to the military standard MIL-STD-810H-2019.

The Nokia XR20 is housed in a durable, non-slip textured finish, and its screen is protected by tempered Corning Gorilla Glass Victus. Thanks to this, the Nokia mobile can withstand temperature changes, drops from a height of 1.5 meters, and can be underwater at a depth of up to 1.5 meters for half an hour. The screen responds instantly even to touches with wet hands and gloves. At the same time, the brightness of 500 nits allows you to use your smartphone outdoors in sunny weather.

The Nokia XR 20 is equipped with a 6.67-inch display with a resolution of 1080×2400 pixels, an energy-efficient Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 5G processor, 6 GB of RAM, 128 GB of ROM and runs on the Android 11 operating system. The smartphone has a dual main camera with Zeiss optics, which includes the main sensor on 48MP and 13MP ultra-wide, plus dual-LED flash. In addition, the camera supports OZO Audio surround sound technology with noise reduction, Action Cam, and SpeedWarp modes for fast shooting.

The XR20 packs a 4630 mAh battery that supports 15-watt wireless charging and the bundled 18-watt wired one. The claimed battery life of the device is two days. The Nokia smartphone is equipped with stereo speakers with OZO Playback technology and comes in two colors – graphite and ultramarine.

Nokia XR20 price in USA has been set at $549.99 for the 5G variant with Dual-SIM support and as mentioned in the beginning it is already available to pre-order on the Bhphotovideo.com online store in Blue and Gray color options.

Recently, HMD Global has also made available the Nokia G20 in North America, after being announced in Europe. It has been priced at $199.99 and the company also promises that the device will receive updates until at least 2024.
