As expected, Nokia 6 2018 has been officially launched in China today, it is a mid-range smartphone and the successor of the Nokia 6 2017 was first introduced at the CES 2017 last year. The device has a Dual-Sight technology that uses both front and rear cameras simultaneously directly from your camera app to create Bothie.

Nokia 6 2018 price in China is CNY 1,499 – approximately $230 for the 32GB ROM and 64GB ROM variant will cost CNY 1,699 – approximately $262. The handset is available in Black and Silver color variants and it will go on sale from January 10 in China. No further details on global launch yet.

The Nokia 6 2018 features a 5.5-inch 2.5D curved glass display with Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) resolution and protected by the Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The device has a unibody design with 6000 series aluminum chassis created using two-color anodization process and diamond cutting technology.
It is powered by a 2.2 GHz octa-core processor that’s backed by Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 14nm chipset paired with Adreno 508 GPU and 4GB of LPDDR4 RAM. It packs a 32GB / 64GB of inbuilt storage which can be expanded via microSD card up to 128GB.
On the camera front, the new Nokia phone flaunts a 16-megapixel primary autofocus camera sensor with PDAF, 1.0um pixel size, f/2.0 aperture, and dual-tone LED flash. It has an 8-megapixel front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture, 84-degree wide-angle lens, and 1.12-pixel size. As mentioned above, it has the Dual-Sight technology to capture a Bothie, a split screen visual for both photos and videos. The Nokia 6 2018 comes equipped with a rear fingerprint sensor.
The handset runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat out of the box, but it is upgradable to Android 8.0 Oreo. It packs a 3000mAh battery with fast charging support that can charge the device up to 50 percent in 30 minutes. It supports hybrid SIM slot with dual standby. For connectivity includes 4G VoLTE, 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS, A-GPS, Bluetooth 5, USB Type-C and 3.5 mm audio jack options. It measures 148.8 x 75.8 x 8.15-8.6mm and weighs 172 grams.
