Nokia 5 2017 and Nokia 6 2017 will also be updated to Android P, recently arrived on Nokia 7 Plus in the form of a beta version. The news comes through the Twitter profile of Juho Sarvikas, Chief Product Officer of HMD Global, who answered the question of a user who explicitly questioned him about the future of the two smartphones. Sarvikas’ comment was brief and concise and confirmed with absolute certainty the arrival of Android P on the two mid-range sold last year.

Meanwhile, new information is emerging around the upcoming products that will compose the Nokia HMD lineup in 2018. Roland Quandt, who seems to have seen the next Nokia 3.1 or the Nokia 3 2018 variant – within a user agent profile that explicitly mentions the abbreviation 3.1. Unfortunately, no details regarding the technical specifications have emerged.

Nokia 6.1 or Nokia 6 2018 was the first device of HMD to adopt this type of numbering to indicate the update of a product belonging to a specific series, so we expect that the company will maintain the same scheme for the other smartphones that will arrive in the coming months.
Now we just have to wait for further official communications. A few days ago Sarvikas had already confirmed the arrival of a Nokia 5 2018 – which at this point should be called Nokia 5.1.
