Along with the Nokia 3.2, HMD Global also announced the Nokia 4.2 smartphone at a press event in Barcelona. It is budget smartphone comes with a 5.71-inch HD+ waterdrop notch display, Snapdragon 439 SoC, 3GB RAM, runs on Android 9 Pie, AI camera, fingerprint sensor, and face unlock.
Nokia 4.2 Price and Availability
The Nokia 4.2 price has been set at $169 only for the 2GB RAM with 16GB storage model, and $199 for 3GB RAM 32GB storage variant. It will be available from April 2019 and comes in Black and Pink Sand color options.

The Nokia 4.2 features a 5.71-inch HD+ (720×1520 pixels) a-Si FullView 2.5D curved glass with 19:9 aspect ratio. The device also has a 2.5D glass on rear panel with a polycarbonate frame and metal internal structure. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 439 octa-core processor which supported by Adreno 505 GPU, and packs 2GB/3GB of RAM as well as includes 16GB/32GB of inbuilt storage, expandable via microSD card (up to 400GB).
On the camera front, the Nokia 4.2 comes with a dual rear camera setup: 13-megapixel sensor with PDAF, an f/2.2 autofocus lens, 1.12um pixel size, LED flash and secondary 2-megapixel camera for portrait shots. For selfie, there is an 8-megapixel camera with an f/2.0 aperture and 1.12um pixel size.
The Nokia 4.2 also features a fingerprint sensor on the rear and supports Face Unlock too. The device runs on Android 9 Pie out of the box and packs a 3000mAh battery. It supports dual SIM slot with dual standby and for connectivity includes 4G VoLTE, 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n/ac, GPS, Bluetooth 4.2, and USB. The device measures 148.95 x 71.30 x 8.39mm and weighs 161 grams.
