Nokia 3310 3G Version With Redefined UI, New Color Announced

That would be great if it had 3G connectivity, most of the older Nokia device fans were thinking while Nokia 3310 2017 was released for the first time with the limited 2G connectivity. But now the solution has come to an end because HMD today announced the new Nokia 3310 3G version to talk clearly and surf faster.

Nokia 3310 2017, the modern iteration of the classic Nokia phone, now with 3G Internet in its repertoire, the new Nokia 3310 becomes a much more attractive option from the model launched earlier this year, which could access mobile data at 2G speeds only.

Nokia 3310 3G variants also come in two new color options. It has now more space between the buttons, letting you dial, text, and tweet more comfortably. It comes with a new improved, customizable retro user interface that lets you change the icon colors and position.

The Nokia 3310 3G was announced by HMD Chief Marketing Officer Pekka Rantala, who claimed that the company managed to sell “millions” units of the refreshed version of the Nokia 3310 across different markets. The device also has the most popular game Snake as well as pre-installed Twitter and Facebook social apps.

Apart from the 3G connectivity, the new Nokia 3310 3G also comes with new customisation options for rearranging icons and choosing color themes. The company is marketing it as all-new customisable retro UI. The device also includes the regular Micro-USB port and ditches the pin charger. It also features Bluetooth 2.1 functionality for pairing with other phones.

Nokia 3310 3G features a 2.4-inch QVGA (240×320 pixels) TFT color display. It runs on ‘Feature OS powered by Java’, as per the company’s site, and comes with 64MB storage and supports expandable storage via microSD card up to 32GB. There is a 2MP rear camera with LED flash and FM radio functionality.

The handset packs a 1200mAh battery that is claimed to offer 24 days of standby time for dual-SIM variant. It measures 117 x 52.4 x 13.3mm and weighs 88 grams for dual-SIM version.

The Nokia 3310 3G price is €69 – approximately $81 and it has been announced in the Australian market only for now and is likely to be made available in more markets. The device will be going on sale in Australia starting October 16 and it comes in Azure, Yellow, Warm Red, and Charcoal color options.
