Nokia 222 and Nokia 222 Dual SIM Budget Phones Launched at $37

Microsoft seems to have abandoned high-end smartphones and to focus on the budget segment. And at this time Microsoft officially launched two budget phones, Nokia 222 and Nokia 222 Dual SIM; Priced at $37.

The Nokia 220 is considered to be the cheapest budget phone from Microsoft at the moment. Unlike other budget phone, the Microsoft Nokia 222 can run a lot of popular applications likes Twitter, Facebook, GroupMe by Skype etc. to help users get a little more experience of smartphone on a budget product. Both the Nokia Dual SIM phones also supports Slam technology, which allows you to sending and receiving files with another same technology device.

Nokia 222 and Nokia 222 Dual SIM, both have the same configurations a 2.4 inch LCD display with a QVGA resolution of 240×320 pixels and pixel density of 166ppi. Both phones also have MicroSD card supports up to 32GB, an 1100mAh removable battery and According to Microsoft, Nokia 222 can operate up to 21 days in standby mode and 20 hours of talk time on 2G network.

Both the Nokia 222 phones come with a 2-megapixel fixed-focus rear camera and run on Nokia Series 30+ operating system. In terms of connectivity include GPRS, EDGE, Bluetooth 3.0, FM radio, Micro-USB and Micro-SIM slot. It also supports built-in torchlight, MP3, FM radio and connect with accessories including headphones or external speakers connected via Bluetooth.
