Nokia 2 With Snapdragon 212, 1GB of RAM Spotted on AnTuTu

After Nokia 9, HMD Global is now looking to bring out its budget smartphone, Nokia 2. Based on what we’ve heard in the past, the Nokia 2 is gearing up to be an entry-level phone, and a new AnTuTu benchmark listing also adds support to the same.

Some specifications of the upcoming Nokia 2 have been spotted on AnTuTu. The listing suggests the smartphone with model TA-1035 running Android 7.1.1 Nougat, sporting a 5.0-inch HD (720 x 1280 pixels) display and being powered by a Snapdragon 212 chipset coupled with 1GB of RAM and Adreno 304 GPU.

The specifications are pretty much in line with what we’ve come to know about the handset. The device also packs a 8GB of native storage and for camera, it bears a 5-megapixel front camera and an 8-megapixel rear camera sensor.

This configuration is not too surprising as the price of only $99 was recently listed online. Although the Nokia 2 AnTuTu image does not mention battery capacity, according to a recent leak, the device may pack a large battery up to 4000mAh. If this is true, plus the previously leaked image is quite similar to Nokia 3, Nokia 2 is still a phone worth attention for under $150 segment.

Nokia 2 is likely to be unveiled on October 31st, 2017.
