NiSi Filters Japan recently introduced the square filter Holder Kit exclusively for the top compact Ricoh GR III camera. The holder is directly attached to the lens barrel.
There are two types of kits are available: Ricoh GRIII Starter Kit and Ricoh GR3 Professional Kit. In addition to a holder that can hold up to two square filters, the starter kit includes a graduated neutral density filter (GND8) and a polarizer filter.
Apart from the starter kit, the Professional Kit includes a starter kit two filters as well as an IR neutral density filter (ND8) and a natural night filter. The company draws attention to the fact that the holder must be disconnected before turning off the camera to prevent it from falling when the lens is retracted.
Price and Availability
The recommended retail price is $49 for the Starter and $65 for the Professional kit. Both kits include the holder, a cloth carrying pouch for safe transport, and can be purchased through Amazon.com store.
