Nikon D6 will use CF Express Card; will be launched in Q2 2019?

Recently a Nikon D6 Facebook account cited sources from Nikonrumors that Nikon will introduce a new camera in the second quarter of 2019. The camera has a slot to use CF Express memory card with the highest speed at present is 1400mb / s was introduced at the recent CES 2019 event.

Although there is no official information yet, the new camera belongs to the Mirrorless or DSLR series, but according to sources previously collected by the Exquisite Camera, it may be the flagship Nikon D6 camera that was once pronounced.

Previously, Sonyrumors once reported that the Nikon D6 camera will use Sony IMX455AQR sensor. If the Sonyrumors say it is true, the D6 camera will have these sensor-based parameters as follows:

  • First DSLR camera to shoot 8K
  • Image sensor up to 60MP
  • ISO 64 (native ISO)
  • Pixel size 9600 x 6400
  • 11/12/14/16 bit ADC
  • Full Pixel 9fps/14Bit ADC
  • SLVS-EC technology (Scalable Low Voltage Signaling Embedded Clock) with 8Lane
  • Single ADC in Video Mode
  • 12-ADC in Still Picture Mode

The Nikon D6 is undoubtedly the most anticipated Nikon camera to date because most of them are used to the DSLR design. If the Nikon D5 2016 is sold for around $6500, the price of the Nikon D6 must be $6500 or more.
