While some firms have developed a camera with 4K video recording capabilities, but Nikon has not any device which is capable of shooting 4K video.
According Nikon Rumors, the Nikon 1 J5 appeared in the list of CP + 2015 and will soon appear with a 4K video recording capability. In essence, the sensor of the Nikon 1 J5 can support 4K video recording at 60fps, but for whatever reason, it did not develop this feature. Last year, the regional manager of Nikon Europe, Mr. Zurab Kiknadaze have conversations with TrustedReviews and make suggestions about the development of the camera is capable of 4K video recording in near future.

“We are aware of the needs and requirements of Nikon 4K Camera. However, there are some challenges to, we did not type it out of our camera that need to be more cautious when developing this feature. There are many high-end cameras have the ability to do this, but it requires a lot of additional equipment. For us, as customer’s request, we will be interested in this issue for the future.”
The Nikon 1 J5 missed an appointment with us at CP + 2015. We will continue to wait for NAB 2015 events in next April to see the first Nikon 4K video camera.
