New Razer Blade Stealth 2016 with 7th Gen i7 CPU, Battery life up to 9 hours, Priced from $999: IFA 2016

Besides New Razer Blade 2016, the company also upgraded its Razer Blade Stealth line with the latest 7th Gen Intel Core i7 (Kaby Lake) processor promises higher performance and longer battery life. The design is ultra light and thin, and when you need high performance it can fuse with the Razer Core via Thunderbolt 3. New Razer Blade Stealth 2016 model is also valuable gaming laptop when the pricing starting from $999.99 for QHD 128GB variant. 2

So in less than a year, the Razer Blade Stealth has a new variant. This Razer gaming laptop was first launched at CES 2016, and is considered as one of the best Ultimate Ultrabook with more than 20 large and small awards. Razer Blade Stealth comes with 12.5 inch screen, 13mm thin body and weighs only 1.28 kg. Its housing also made from monolithic aluminum with CNC cutting, and black anodize finishing similar as New Razer Blade 14.

Screen size is small, but the resolution is quite high when it comes with optional QHD or 4K UHD display, IGZO panels, multi-touch, no Full HD option. QHD variant with 234ppi pixel density, 70% Adobe RGB color range, while 4K UHD model has a higher pixel density of 352ppi and 100% Adobe RGB color range.

Razer Stealth Blade is the only Ultrabook in the market, which also features customizable keyboard for individual backlit keys with Razer Chroma technology, allowing customization of each key with 16.8 million colors. The lights and effects settings are synchronized via the Razer Synapse. 1

Inside of the New Razer Blade Stealth 2016, 7th Gen Intel Core i7 processor with Hyper-Threading architecture, 8GB/16GB dual-channel RAM and PCIe M.2 SSd options up to 1TB. Razer focus on battery life in the spirit of the Ultrabook and battery capacity on the new Razer Stealth increased 15% from 45 Wh to 53.6 Wh, and the company claimed up to 9 hours of battery life after full charge.

Starting with the New Blade Stealth QHD – 128GB, the pricing of which starts at $999.99, QHD – 256GB and QHD – 512GB model for $1,249, and $1,399 respectively. While the 4K – 512GB variant, the pricing of which starts at $1,599 and finally high-end 4K – 1TB model for $1,999.

Razer Core

Similar to previous generations, New Razer Blade Stealth can reboost with external plug and play Desktop graphics called Razer Core connected via Thunderbolt 3. The Razer core price starting from $499.99 and will be sold in September, if purchased with the new Razer Blade Stealth 2016 user can get $100 credit on it. 3

Razer Core has a simple design, allowing easy installation of the various GPUs, built-in 4 x USB 3.0 ports, Gigabit LAN, 500W power and Chroma – 2 Zones lights can be customized according to Chroma Razer technology. List of supported GPUs including Nvidia GeForce GTX 750/750 Ti / 950/960/980/980 Ti / Titanium X / 1060/1070 and 1080; AMD Radeon R9 Nano, Fury, 285/290 / 290X / 300 series and RX 460/470/480.
