Asus has added the PN50 small PC to its range, which according to the manufacturer is suitable for a wide range of home and business applications. At the heart of the new Asus Mini PC is the AMD Ryzen 4000 series mobile processor with Radeon Vega 7 graphics and support for high-speed DDR4-3200 memory.
Its high performance and compact size make the PN50 AMD Mini PC suitable for applications where traditional PCs are less suitable – for example, as a home theater base or for controlling digital signage. This new Ryzen mini PC supports the connection of an 8K monitor or up to four 4K monitors. In both cases, the frame rate reaches 60 Hz.
The manufacturer also highlights a WiFi 6 (802.11ax) wireless adapter, two USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports with USB-C connectors, an array of microphones that provides access to Microsoft’s Cortana voice assistant, and an IR receiver for the remote control.
The dimensions of the Asus Mini PC are 115 x 115 x 49 mm. The enclosure accommodates one 2.5-inch drive and one M.2 drive. When idle, the PN50 consumes about 10W and has a noise level of 21.9 dBA. At full load, the noise rises to 34.7 dBA.

Asus PN50 Mini PC is now available to pre-order in UK via the Amazon.co.uk website with a starting price of £274.98 for Ryzen 3 4300U, £319.98 for Ryzen 5 4500U, £369.99 for Ryzen 7 4700U, and £499.98 for Ryzen 7 4800U.
