Apple has recently released a new firmware update for its truly wireless earbuds AirPods 2 and AirPods Pro devices. In both cases there is no information on the innovations introduced, therefore it should be improvements related to the performance and stability of the connection.
For AirPods Pro is the second remote upgrade of approximately one month from the previous year, this ranges from firmware version 2B588 November, the latest 2C54. The AirPods 2 instead pass from the 2A364 release to the 2C54 (similar firmware).
The update is performed automatically, but it is necessary to put the earbuds inside the charging case, connecting the AirPods to a power source, and then pairing the AirPods to an iPhone or an iPad should force the update after a short period of time.
To check that both models are updated to the new release, simply go to the Settings>General>About>Airpods. The update is already being distributed, however, it may take a few days before it spreads globally.
