Asus ROG Zephyrus G14 2023 with AMD Ryzen 9 and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090

With a 165 Hz mini-LED display with QHD resolution and an Nvidia GeForce RTX 4090 laptop GPU, the new Asus ROG Zephyrus G14 2023 packs powerful equipment into the 1.95-centimeter thin, 1.65-kilogram gaming notebook.

The Asus new G14 2023 inherits the design of its predecessor but offers far more performance. Because Asus installs an Nvidia GeForce RTX 4090 laptop GPU with 16 GB GDDR6 graphics memory.

Nvidia’s most powerful mobile graphics chip can draw on a power loss of just 125 watts including Dynamic Boost in the compact gaming notebook so the GPU in the Zephyrus G14 can nowhere near develop its full potential.

There is also AMD Ryzen 9 7000 processor, which is cooled with liquid metal. A vapor chamber for the CPU and GPU as well as two Arc Flow fans, each with 84 fins, are responsible for cooling the powerful components. A MUX switch should guarantee the best possible performance, even when using the internal display.

A ROG Nebula display is used in the top model, which offers a resolution of 2,560 x 1,600 pixels and a 600-nit bright mini-LED backlight. The DCI-P3 color space can be displayed in full, and the frame rate of 165 Hz promises minimal latency.

The new Asus ROG Zephyrus G14 2023 can be equipped with up to 32 GB of DDR5-4800 memory and a 1 TB PCIe 4.0 SSD. The keyboard has RGB lighting. Just like the previous model, a total of four loudspeakers are used.

The so-called AniMe Matrix, which can display animations on the display lid, is again available for an extra charge. Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.2 are also part of the standard equipment, as is a 76 Wh battery and a 1,080p webcam including an infrared camera for Windows login via face recognition. The device offers two USB-A, two USB-C, HDMI 2.1, and a microSD card reader.
