New Apple iPad Pro and iMac Pre-Orders started

Pre-orders for the brand new Apple iPad Pro and the new Apple iMac with M1 ARM SoC will start today on Friday, April 30th. Now Apple has announced that the exciting devices will be delivered from May 21st, so buyers will have to wait around three weeks for delivery after placing their order.

Apple announced in a press release that shipments of the iPadPro and the new iMac desktop will begin on May 21, 2021. Pre-orders will start on Friday, April 30th, in the Bhphotovideo.com, BestBuy.com, and Adorama.com online stores.

The Apple new iPad Pro offers some significant upgrades, including the Apple M1 ARM SoC, which is already known from the MacBook Air (approx. $949 on Amazon) and which achieves a significantly better performance than the Apple A12Z Bionic of the previous model. The latest generation of the professional tablet has a Thunderbolt connection and an optional 5G modem.

The most exciting upgrade is only available for the 12.9-inch model, which is equipped with a mini LED display that promises a peak brightness of 1,600 nits and a significantly better contrast ratio, but both iPad Pro have a 120 Hz fast ProMotion display. The 11-inch iPad Pro price starts from $799, while the 12.9-inch iPad Pro price starts from $1,199.

At least as exciting as the new iMac computer, which, apart from its somewhat controversial design, also features the M1 ARM SoC, a higher-quality 1080p webcam, redesigned speakers, and two Thunderbolt ports. The new iMac price starts from $1,299 for the model with 8 GB of RAM and a 256 GB SSD, the model for $1,699 comes with the same storage equipment, but there is also a keyboard with Touch ID and two additional USB-C ports and an Ethernet port on the power supply.

Along with that the next generation of Apple TV 4K can be pre-ordered today and will be available in the second half of May.
