The PGO27QFV from ASRock is a new 360Hz monitor based on OLED technology. It also has a Wi-Fi antenna and could offer a better data transfer rate. The best 1440p 360Hz monitor is fast and has accurate colors.
The ASRock PGO27QFV is another gaming monitor that comes onto the market with a QD-OLED. ASRock uses a 27-inch display with a resolution of 2,560 x 1,440 pixels. The refresh rate is 360 Hz, the gray-to-gray response time is 0.03 milliseconds, and the image output and display can be synchronized with AMD FreeSync Premium Pro. A maximum HDR peak brightness of 1,000 cd/m² is specified; the typical SDR brightness is 250 cd/m². ASRock specifies the color deviation as Delta E less than 2.
There are no differences in pure image display compared to the PGO27QFS, but there are differences in the features. The PGO27QFV has a Wi-Fi antenna. You can connect a corresponding network card, ideally using the PGO27QFV as an antenna to enhance the data transfer rate and/or quality. Desktop PCs often have antennas positioned inconveniently behind the PC and under a table.
The equipment has further differences: The PGO27QFV does not have a KVM switch or USB hub. There are two HDMI 2.1 ports, one DisplayPort 1.4, and one USB 3.2 Gen 1 in Type C. The Type C connection can also supply electrical energy, although only 15 watts are output—that’s enough for a smartphone but not for a laptop. The monitor’s height can be adjusted by up to 10 centimeters, and swiveling and tilting are also possible.
