Brand new Netgear Nighthawk Pro Gaming XR1000 WiFi 6 router for the gaming popular with console and computer gamers. The Gaming WiFi 6 router is now available at a recommended retail price of $349.99 on Amazon.com retailer.

With its angular shape and the big red shark’s mouth, the Netgear Nighthawk Pro Gaming XR1000 steals the show from other routers such as the Tenda AC23 AC2100 WLAN router despite its seven antennas. In terms of hardware and software, the XR1000 WiFi 6 Net gear router combines powerful features such as five GBit Ethernet ports (1x WAN, 4x LAN), 1.5 GHz triple-core processor, and DumaOS 3.0 software.

Among other things, with DumaOS 3.0 the user should benefit from an improved bandwidth allocation (QoS), geo-fencing with individually definable anchor points, and a traffic controller that can block the network traffic of certain devices or applications. A ping heat map shows the connection quality of game servers, the connection benchmark tests the speed, ping rate, and performance of the connection under maximum load.

After taking out the annual subscription, Armor customers can upgrade the Bitdefender VPN functionality from the free 200MB of encrypted data traffic per day and device to unlimited encrypted data traffic. The annual subscription costs an additional $40 bucks.

Recently, Asus has also introduced the new RT-AX82U AX5400 Mesh Router Wi-Fi 6 router (model number RT-AX82U) that conforms to the IEEE 802.11ax or Wi-Fi6 specification, priced at $229. For this amount, the buyer receives a router that enables high-speed wireless communication in smart connected homes.
