Netgear has added the new Orbi Mesh System AX4200 (RBK752 and RBK753) models with Tri-Band home router Netgear models. These new Orbi WiFi 6 system is attractively priced and designed to make reliable whole home Orbi Satellite extend coverage up to 2,500 sq. ft.
The new Orbi mesh router features WiFi 6 keeps all connections strong, in every room, all the time. Orbi WiFi 6 technology is faster than before and supports your devices’ connections for today and tomorrow with 4x increased capacity as compared to Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac) systems. It powers up to 4. 2Gbps of streaming HD video, gaming or Internet surfing, and downloads. Works with existing WiFi devices and new WiFi 6 devices like iPhone 11, Galaxy Note 10, and Galaxy S10.
The RBK752 is a set of an Orbi router and a satellite, and RBK753 is a set of three devices – a router and two satellites. The new Orbi mesh system operates in three ranges, providing reliable coverage in all rooms of a private house. The mesh bandwidth is sufficient for 4K and 8K video streaming, as well as online gaming.
The RBK752 and RBK753 Orbi setup systems support up to 40 devices simultaneously, while RBK852 and RBK853 systems support more than 60 devices. In addition, RBK752 and RBK753 support 1GbE wired network connectivity, while RBK852 and RBK853 support 2.5GbE. The router is equipped with three Gigabit Ethernet ports and two in the satellite. Configuration and management are performed using the Orbi mobile application.
Price and availability
Netgear AX4200 (RBK752) Orbi mesh system has been priced at $449.99 and it can be purchased through Amazon.com and Bestbuy.com online stores.
Netgear AX4200 (RBK753), on the other hand, costs $649.99 and it is listed on the Newegg.com online e-shop.
Earlier this month, Asus has also made available the new gigabit router named the RT-AX89X. The gigabit modem is said to offer particularly high performance and has an extravagant design. The transmission is to be managed by a 2.2 GHz quad-core processor, which has a gigabyte memory.
