With the Nebula X1, Anker has presented its most powerful smart outdoor movie projector. In addition to a very bright 4K image, it features an optional speaker set for true surround sound.
The Nebula X1 outdoor projector for movie night projects an image up to 200 inches in size with 4K Ultra HD resolution and, thanks to its triple-laser light engine, achieves a brightness of an impressive 3,500 ANSI lumens. This makes the X1 by far Nebula’s brightest projector, reaching almost twice the brightness of the Cosmos 4K SE (approx. $1,099.99 / £1,299.99 on Amazon) introduced last year. Furthermore, according to ISF and TÜV display certifications, it is color-accurate, and its Eye Guard function protects users’ eyes.
When it comes to setup, the Nebula X1 is remarkably adaptable. It not only features smart assistants such as autofocus, automatic keystone correction, obstacle detection, screen adjustment, and ambient light and wall color adjustment but also has a built-in micro gimbal. This allows a tilt angle of up to 25 degrees and an optical zoom, making the projector particularly flexible. The home theater projector saves predefined room settings and automatically adapts to different conditions.
Another special feature of the Nebula X1 is its sound output. In addition to four internal speakers (two each with 15 W and 5 W), there’s an optional sound system with two Wi-Fi satellite speakers, providing an immersive 4.1.2 surround sound experience. Karaoke fans can connect wireless microphones. Two HDMI ports (one with eARC), a retractable carrying handle, and a Google TV with Netflix integration round out the Nebula X1’s features.
