Nanlite – a manufacturer of lighting products (a subsidiary of Ledgo), has announced a new compact LED light device for photo and video shooting named Forza 60B. The main innovation in this device is the BiColor light features (changing the color of lighting without additional fixtures).

Nanlite Forza 60B

Nanlite Forza 60B offers a color temperature range from 2700K to 6500K. In addition, the illuminator supports CRI 96 and TLCI 98 color rendering index. The device can provide brightness up to 13830 lux at a distance of 1m with a standard reflector or up to 33530 lux with an additional Fresnel lens.

In addition to being compact and the light is also run on NP-F or 14.8V V-mount batteries with the separate purchase of a battery grip or adapter for situations when 110 to 240 VAC power supply is unavailable. The new Forza 60B LED illuminator is equipped with the popular Bowens mount. This means that you can attach a large number of different modifiers that are on sale.

Nanlite BiColor Light

Another feature of the BiColor light is the ability to turn on one of the twelve functions of the built-in special effects such as CCT Loop, INT Loop, Flash, Pulse, Storm, TV, Paparazzi, Candle/Fire, Bad Bulb, Fireworks, Explosion, and Welding.

Price and availability

The new Nanlite Forza 60B BiColor light can be pre-ordered through the Bhphotovideo.com store for $319 and shipping starts from August 3, 2020. The weight of the LED light itself is 830 grams, and the complete kit assembly does not exceed 2 kg.

Previously, Nanlite introduced the PavoTube II 6C camera lighting – a small RGBWW LED Tube with battery power and USB C charging, and its length is only 25 cm. The cost of the device is $99 only.

In addition, recently another company called Intellytech has also announced it’s Light Cannon X-100 LED light. Its hallmark is the ability to adjust the temperature from 2800K to 6500K. The propagation of the light beam can also be adjusted from 15 degrees to wide 70 degrees.
