The flagship gaming laptop, MSI Titan 18 HX AI, was presented at CES 2025 and is now available for pre-order. It features a 4K+ mini-LED display, mechanical keyboard, RTX 5090, and Core 9 Ultra 285HX.
The cooling system is also fascinating, with a combined output of 270 watts thanks to OverBoost Ultra technology. A limited version with a special 3D design, “Dragon Edition North Myth,” is also available.
MSI has introduced its flagship gamer, Titan 18 HX AI, at CES 2025. The 4K+ mini-LED display and mechanical keyboard are interesting, as are the record-breaking 270 watts the cooling system can dissipate.
The processor used is a maximum of an Intel Core 9 Ultra 285HX, and the graphics unit is either an Nvidia GeForce RTX 5080 with 16 GB GDDR7-VRAM or an RTX 5090 with 24 GB GDDR7-VRAM. The TGP should have a maximum of 175 watts, so the processor still has 95 watts available under combined load. The power supply is also specified as 400 watts. The case thickness of 32 mm underlines the cooling system’s potential, while the weight is an impressive 3.6 kg.
Up to 96 GB DDR5-6400 RAM and up to four SSDs can be installed, one of which has a PCIe 5.0 connection. The 4K+ mini-LED display has a refresh rate of 120 Hz, completely covers the DCI-P3 color space, and reaches a peak brightness of 1,000 nits in HDR mode. There is no alternative panel. The keyboard also features Cherry MX Ultralow Profile switches and RGB individual key lighting. Thunderbolt 5, WiFi 7, and six speakers are also on board.

2025 MSI Titan 18 HX AI A2XWJG-016US is now available to pre-order from Amazon.com, Bhphotovideo.com, and Amazon.co.uk at a launch price of $4,999.99. According to the product listing, this item will be released on March 31, 2025.

A limited special edition, the Titan 18 HX Dragon Edition North Myth, will feature a unique 3D dragon design inspired by Nordic mythology. Unfortunately, there is currently no information about its release date and prices.
