The Taiwanese company MSI has unveiled the best 24 inch monitor Pro MP242C. The office monitor has a built-in VA panel with 1920 x 1080 pixels (Full HD) resolution and a maximum refresh rate of 75 Hz.
The new MSI curved monitor has 1500 R curvature and promises a 3000:1 contrast. The specs also mention a 5 ms response time (grey to gray), 250 cd/m² brightness, 8-bit color depth, and 98 percent sRGB.
Two internal 2-watt speakers are also part of the curved monitor screen, but not HDR support or sync technology against tearing. However, the intended target group should not be bothered by it anyway. For the connectivity, there is HDMI 1.4b, VGA, a microphone input, and a headphone output. One looks in vain for USB interfaces.
On the ergonomic side, a tilt adjustment, a VESA mount (100 x 100 mm), a blue light filter, and a flicker-reduced backlight are offered. The MSI Pro MP242C monitor curved device weighs 2.95 kg and allows a mini PC from the manufacturer’s Cubi series to be attached to the rear.
