MSI Optix MAG342CQR 34-inch AMD Freesync Gaming Curved Monitor Announced

With the Optix MAG342CQR, MSI offering a new 34-inch AMD Free sync Gaming Curved Monitor, which has a UWQHD resolution and, thanks to a 144 Hz panel, should also be able to display fast game scenes smoothly at any time.

The MSI Optix MAG342CQR is aimed particularly at video gamers: The 34-inch VA panel has a resolution of 3440 x 1440 pixels, which is still quite GPU-friendly, and should be able to achieve a refresh rate of 144 Hz. FreeSync is supported, the panel is curved with a 1500R curvature.

MSI specifies the response time of the VA panel to be one millisecond, and 118.25 percent of the sRGB color space should be covered. The brightness is 300 cd / m², a static contrast is 4,000: 1 by MSI.

The Freesync monitor receives image signals through a DisplayPort and a DVI and HDMI 2.0 connection. A USB hub or loudspeakers are not integrated and MSI does not offer any particularly unusual alignment options. Through adjustments of tilting (-5°~20°), lowering and raising (0~90mm), and swiveling (-30~30mm), you can easily change the position of the monitor for maximum ergonomics and optimum viewing experiences.
