MSI has recently unveiled the Optix MAG274R monitor for esports enthusiasts, which is now available to buy on Amazon. This new MSI gaming monitor uses a 27-inch IPS panel. According to the manufacturer, in the past, to get a short response time, it was necessary to use panels of the TN or VA type, inferior to IPS in image quality, but now this problem has been solved. The MSI Optix MAG274R has a 1ms response time.
This new MSI monitor has a Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) screen resolution, the contrast ratio is 1000:1, and viewing angles are 178 °. The screen covers 95% of the DCI-P3 color space and 132% of the sRGB color space. The monitor supports AMD FreeSync Premium adaptive sync technology and the maximum refresh rate is 144 Hz.
The stand design allows tilt angle change from -5º to 25º, rotation by ± 75º, screen orientation change, and height adjustment by 100 mm. For the connectivity, the monitor includes two HDMI 2.0 inputs, one DisplayPort 1.2 input, and a three-port USB 2.0 hub.
