MSI Optix AG321CQR Curved Screen Monitor with Console Mode

MSI adds a new curved screen monitor for gaming offering gamers the performance they need to play comfortably. MSI Optix AG321CQR has a diagonal of 31.5-inch, refresh rate up to 165 Hz, 1500R curvature, and response time is 1 ms.

MSI Optix AG321CQR Curved Screen Monitor

The new curved computer monitor is developed based on a VA panel with wide viewing angles of 178 ° vertically and horizontally, an anti-reflective matte screen coating, and a thin three-sided bezel.

The MSI Optix AG321CQR gaming monitor can offer the user a resolution of 2560 × 1440 pixels, a brightness of 250 nits, and a contrast ratio of 3000: 1. The installed panel is capable of displaying 1.07 billion colors (8-bit + FRC) with coverage of the sRGB color space at 124% and DCI-P3 at 98%.

The new MSI curved monitor uses an ergonomic stand with adjustable height, swivel, tilt, and swivel functionality. Available video inputs: HDMI 1.4, and DP 1.2. The curved computer monitor support Flicker Reduction, Blue Filtering, FreeSync Premium, MSI Mystic Light, and Night Vision.

Not so long ago it became known that the PlayStation 5 will not be able to support the native resolution of 1440p. Thus, in order to obtain the appropriate format when displaying an image on the screen, you will either have to upscale from Full HD (1080p) resolution or downscale the picture from 4K.

Therefore, MSI has implemented a special Console Mode in this gaming monitor, which allows you to receive a 4K signal when you connect the PlayStation 5 to a 1440p monitor. This will provide support for HDR.

Price and availability

MSI Optix AG321CQR curved screen monitor is now available to buy on Amazon.com and Newegg.com e-shops for $379.99.

  1. I own one of these monitors and I’m very happy with it.

    • Does it have 2 HDMI ports

    • I have a VESA mount with a bracket that has holes for both 100 X 100 and 75 X 75. This monitor supports 75 X 75. I know that means the holes will be 75 x 75 on the monitor, but what I am not sure about is if there is enough space for the bracket to fit considering it is wider than 75 x 75. Can you advise? I assume it goes within the round LED lighted area on the back.
