MSI MPG Z490 Carbon EK X Motherboard comes with Waterblock

MSI USA has now made available the MPG Z490 Carbon EK X motherboard in the country, created in collaboration with EK water blocks, a liquid cooling company. As you might imagine, MSI MPG Z490 Carbon EK X has an EK water cooling. The ATX board is designed for gaming PCs.

The MSI motherboard is based on a set of system logic Intel Z490. There are powerful voltage regulators next to the socket for Intel processors in the LGA 1200 version – the water block removes heat not only from the processor but also from them.

The gaming motherboards come with a four DDR4 DIMM slot. The maximum memory capacity is 128 GB. Modules up to DDR4-4800 (OC) are supported. The expansion slot list includes three PCIe x16 slots and two PCIe x16 slots. Storage connectivity is provided by two M.2 slots and six SATA 6Gb/ ports. 

It has a VRM design with a digital CPU power system, dual power connectors, and exclusive Core Boost technology. To sustain the high performing for 10th gen Intel core processors, a custom-designed EK cooling solution that offers pristine cooling for both the CPU and VRM power delivery section is used to prevent thermal throttling, allowing gamers to sustain heavy gaming loadings without the noisy environment.

The motherboards for gaming equipped with a 2.5GbE port on the Realtek RTL8125B controller, a USB 3.2 Gen 2×2 port, five USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports, and two USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports. The audio subsystem is based on the Realtek ALC1220 codec. The best gaming motherboard is equipped with DisplayPort and HDMI video outputs. It features Mystic Light RGB lighting.
