MSI has announced what it claims to be the world’s first artificial intelligence (AI) concave 144hz 1440p monitor with a 1000R curvature radius. We are talking about the MSI MPG Artymis 343CQR gaming monitor.
The 1000R is said to be the most suitable curvature for the human eye. MSI said that the curved surface design can also enhance the sense of coverage and immersion so that you will not be disturbed by the outside environment during the game, which greatly enhances the gaming experience.
As far as AI is concerned, it manifests itself in features related to game use. In particular, the Artymis Monitors will be equipped with AI noise canceling microphones. AI is also used to select the color of the crosshair that contrasts with the background, making it visible at any time.
Finally, AI Night Vision enhances the detail in dark areas of the screen while preserving details in bright areas, relying on AI calculations to help you see your opponents better.
The MSI 144hz monitor is equipped with the patented OptixScope zoom function, which provides eight-step zoom, switchable via hotkeys. This automatically changes the mouse sensitivity to match the current magnification.
The Gaming OSD application allows you to change 144 hertz monitor settings and link them to different programs. The selection of presets is performed automatically when using a particular program. Gaming OSD also allows you to use in-game hotkeys to customize display settings.
The MSI MPG Artymis 343CQR features a resolution of 3440 x 1440 pixels, a 1ms response time, and is HDR400 certified. The new 144hz 1440p monitor also has HDMI CEC (Consumer Electronics Control) function. After the built-in HDMI CEC technology is connected to the PlayStation or Switch controllers, the controller can be used to wake up the screen with different modes that can be adjusted for different devices.

Recently, MSI has also introduced the Optix MAG301CR2 gaming monitor, made on a concave VA panel with a radius curvature of 1500R. The size of the new MSI curved monitor is 29.5 inches diagonally and is priced at $349.99.
