In August of this year, MSI unveiled the MPG 321CURX QD-OLED, a new gaming monitor featuring a modern set of capabilities. This monitor is also a curved counterpart to the MPG 321URX. Furthermore, the recently opened official selling page has provided a wealth of new information about the latest product.

The 31.5-inch monitor, curved at 1700 R, has a QD-OLED panel, a 3840 x 2160 pixels ( 4K ) resolution, and a maximum refresh rate of 240 Hz. The contrast ratio is 1,500,000:1; the response time is 0.03 ms (gray to gray), the color depth is 10 bits, and the brightness is 250 cd/m² (SDR), 450 cd/m² ( HDR, 10 percent APL) or 1000 cd/m² (HDR, 3 percent APL).
DisplayHDR True Black 400 and ClearMR 13,000 are offered. The latter is 138 percent sRGB, 99 percent DCI-P3, 98 percent Adobe RGB, and has a Delta-E value of less than 2. Tearing is eliminated via Adaptive Sync technology. An AI-supported black stabilizer (AI Vision), a smart crosshair overlay, and an Optix Scope are also on board. A fanless custom heatsink with graphene film keeps the QD-OLED panel at comfortable operating temperatures.
On the interface side, you’ll find two HDMI 2.1 inputs, a DisplayPort 1.4a, a USB 2.0 hub, a headphone output, and a USB-C port with DisplayPort alternate mode and 98-watt PD. Furthermore, 4K at 240 Hz should be supported across all graphic signal connections. There is also no need for a KVM switch and picture-in-picture or picture-by-picture modes. The screen can be tilted, rotated, and adjusted in height.
The MSI MPG 321CURX QD-OLED also comes with a blue light filter, a VESA mount (100 x 100 mm), a firmware update function, and various measures against OLED burn-in effects. Modern game console owners will appreciate 4K120, ALLM, and VRR.
