The Taiwanese manufacturer MSI has listed a new high refresh rate gaming monitor, the MAG 276CXF. The Fast VA panel display has a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels (Full HD), achieves a maximum refresh rate of 280 Hz, and is curved at 1500 R.
This 27-inch FHD monitor offers a 4000:1 contrast ratio, a 0.5 ms response time (gray-to-gray), and a 10-bit color depth (8 bits + FRC), with a typical brightness of 300 cd/m². While it supports HDR, the effect may not be particularly impressive.
The 280Hz refresh rate monitor covers 102% of the sRGB color space, while Adobe RGB and DCI-P3 are covered at 80% and 78%, respectively. Adaptive Sync ensures tear-free gaming sessions. The interfaces include two HDMI 2.0b inputs (Full HD at a maximum of 240 Hz), a DisplayPort 1.4a (Full HD at a maximum of 280 Hz), and a headphone output. USB ports are omitted.
The ergonomics include tilt adjustment, a VESA mount (100 x 100 mm), blue light filtering, and flicker-free backlighting. Gaming features, like a smart crosshair overlay and AI-supported black stabilizer, are accessible through the OSD.
