MSI expands its gaming monitors portfolio with the launch of the all-new Optix MAG322CR MSI gaming monitor with a high-performance curved display designed for those who aim for a high framerate and consequently look a lot at the refresh rate, obviously depends on graphics card used.
The Taiwanese manufacturer, which already boasts several MSI monitors recently (for example Optix MAG272QR with 165hz refresh rate or MAG161V portable MSI gaming monitor) now offers a 31.5-inch curved gaming monitor capable of offering a refresh rate of up to at 180Hz and 1ms response time (MPRT), all with VESA Adaptive-Sync support and AMD Free-sync certification.
More specifically, Optix MAG322CR mounts a VA type panel (8-bit + FRC) with 96% DCI-P3 coverage and 125% sRGB; the other features are unfortunately not so exciting: the resolution reaches 1920×1080 pixels only while the brightness does not exceed 300 nits, this despite the fact that the MSI gaming monitor is sold as HDR-Ready.
Like the other models in the MSI Optix series, MAG322CR also looks a lot at aesthetics, offering a borderless design, as well as the Mystic Light technology that allows you to manage and customize the RGB LED system (located on the back of the body). As for connections, onboard we find a DisplayPort 1.2a, two HDMI 2.0b, USB Type-C (with DP Alt Mode), two USB 2.0 and 3.5mm headphone jack.
