The Taiwanese company MSI lists a new gaming monitor called the G242L E14. Regarding display quality, the 24-in 144Hz 1ms monitor has a Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) resolution IPS panel. Additionally, it offers a contrast ratio of 1500:1, an 8-bit color depth, and a brightness level of 300 cd/m².
Adaptive Sync is listed as an anti-tearing feature, but it is likely AMD FreeSync. According to the specifications, the MSI 24in 144Hz monitor achieves 111 percent sRGB, 83 percent Adobe RGB, and 83 percent DCI-P3. Interfaces include HDMI 1.4b, DisplayPort 1.2a, and a headphone output, with Full HD at 144 Hz supported on the HDMI port.
In terms of ergonomics, you’ll have to make do with tilt adjustment; however, VESA mount compatibility (100 x 100 mm), blue light filtering, and flicker-reduced backlighting are also included.
